  From The Executive Director

Rabbi CohenEach of us has faced, or knows others who have been faced with, a medical emergency. In times of need we reach out to, and often depend upon, our family and friends for their support.  It can be frightening and frustrating for anyone who finds themselves short of financial resources to cover costs associated with a life-threatening or short-term medical emergency. We are blessed to be in a community that can help, and today we are asking you to do just that.  Rabbi Cohen is on sabbatical through August. In late July he and Marian will be hiking the John Muir Trail.  We are inviting our friends and Temple family to use this opportunity to honor them by filling our depleted Emergency Medical Relief Fund. Please see the info to the right and help out if you can. Thank You!

CBB - Did you know...

During Rabbi Steve Cohen's two-month Sabbatical, he and Marian will be hiking the John Muir Trail. For three weeks they will be lugging heavy backpacks, sleeping outdoors, eating dehydrated meals, bathing in mountain lakes and streams, experiencing some of the most spectacular scenery on the planet, and not crossing a single road. See the box to the right, Sole 2 Soul, for more information on their adventure. To read a letter from Rabbi Cohen about his sabbatical, Click Here.
